A Meaningful Celebration

It’s Sunday and most of the people spending their time at home watching TV, listening to radio, malls, park and maybe a whole day facebooking =).

But the people below celebrates their victory. Victory in pushing self to the limit and leadership.

The only thing stopping you from reaching your goals and dreams are your limits. It’s when you meet your limits that you feel resistance and things you want seem harder to achieve. Whether it is fear, doubt, physical abilities or some other mental block, it can present a huge barrier to getting what you want.

Pushing Past Your Limits

1. Find someone to help push you

2. Take on a little more than you think you can

3. Imagine reaching your next level

4. Look at how others reached where you want to go

5. Inspire yourself to action

6. Don’t stop until exhaustion

7. Work on your weaknesses

In order to reach your dreams or goals, you need to push through your limits and past your comfort zone.

Most of us sometimes don’t know the effect of making decisions. Often times, we go through life oblivious to what thoughts we are thinking and what actions we are taking. Every single decision we make in our days shapes our current reality. It shapes who we are as a person because we habitually follow through with the decisions we make without even realizing it.

If we are unhappy with the results of our decision, lets make an effort to change it. Lets create the person we want to be and the life we want to have in the future.

Often times, we take too much time to make a decision because we’re afraid of what’s going to happen. As a result we need to plan, consult, deep analysis, pros and cons etc…

This is good, but it takes a lot of time and effort, Instead trust your gut. Guts will take you anyware =)

If we make a decision, lets put it into action and let’s commit to our self that no matter what happens, our decision will determine the future.

If we want to make real changes in life, we have to make it a habit to apply action with our decision until it’s completed. By going through this so many times, you will feel more confident with accomplishing the next decision that you have in mind. Let’s learn from our past decisions(this is what we call unforgettable experience).

Sometimes we win and sometimes we learn from our decisions. This is a part of our everyday life. If I woke up in the morning, I have to decide what to wear, eat, etc…

Never Say Die Attitude!!!

Sometimes we faced a lot of difficulties in Life.
Sometimes life is unfair.
Sometimes life is so funny.
Sometimes we never know what to do with our problem.
Sometimes we are discouraged on what we have.
Sometimes we are sick and tired of waiting!!!

I also felt the same way, sometimes situation is not fair enough =).
I just realized the people below, they have this what we call the Never Say Die attitude.
Despite of all the problem and challenges they never give up. They push their self to the limit.

Software Freedom Day in Aklan 2013

Day 1 September 20
I woke up around 9am with extra smile on my face and finally Software Freedom Day will be conducted in Aklan. We arrived in NAIA Terminal 3 around 5:00pm and we were late in boarding =). This is my first time in aklan.

I’ve been reading this book (with coffee) while inside the plane and I realized that life is so awesome. Thinking and focusing with your problem will end your day =(. Start focusing on what you really want in your life, visualized and think something that will make you happy. Do not complain with your problem, start talking to your problem.

Day 2 September 21
Software Freedom Day Small Medium Enterprise talk started early in the morning. We shared our experiences in open source with Aklan Catholic College, Nomancia Integrated School, STI and Northern Visayas College. Students and professionals has been motivated by the speakers.

My last word “you may not see what will be your future, but I know for sure that you will become one of the greatest IT practitioner someday”
